Aer Arann, one of the fastest growing regional airlines, will this week celebrate the launch of their new route between twinned cities Cardiff and Nantes. This is Aer Arann’s fourth route from Cardiff as the airline already operates services to Dublin, Cork and Galway in Ireland. The celebrations will include the first passengers to check-in receiving free flights from Aer Arann.
Located on the Loire Estuary, Nantes boasts a rich and varied architectural and cultural heritage and is central to popular tourist destinations such as the Atlantic Coast, Brittany, Anjou and the Vendée. The perfect place to sample local wines and stock up the cellar, Nantes has plenty to offer and as it is set to host the Rugby World Cup this September this route is sure to be a hit with Cardiff rugby fans.
The Cardiff to Nantes service will operate on Saturdays and with a flight time of less than three hours and prices from as little as £49 each way, including tax, is a great service for a week long getaway to this beautiful region of France.
