The Mount Airy Casino Resort has opened. Located in the heart of the Pocono Mountains the opening of the 188 room hotel is another step in the repositioning of the Poconos as a gambling destination. The four star hotel has such luxury features as 37 inch LCD TVs in the rooms and superbly appointed bathrooms. The attention to detail extends to the extra special soft furnishings, and for those who can't relax without their e-mail there is Internet access in all rooms.A nightclub opens in December and there is a luxury spa.

The Casino has the latests state of the art slots and there are four dining options including a buffet, the deluxe Red Steakhouse, Le Sorelle Cucina, an Italian option and an American diner.
