Travelodge, London City Road has opened. Thgis is the largest hgotels in the Travelodge chain with 392 rooms and is the first of 20 new hotels Travelodge are opening in London before the 2012 Olympics. This is a totally non-smoking hotel, and there is no car park.

City Road is to the north of The City (Financial District) and convenient for Liverpool Street Station, Moorfields Eye Hospital and St Bartholomew's Hospital as well as the well known City attractions of St. Paul's Cathedral, The Mermaid Theatre and the Barbican Arts Centre. Old Street Underground Station is close by and so travel anywhere in London is convenient. The trendy art's quarter of Hoxton with its many restaurants and galleries is just to the north.
