April 1st 2008 will see the commencement of SAS's thrice weekly schedule from Bristol to Oslo. Both cities are expected to benefit from increased tourism and the convenience of these direct flights will be welcomed by many business travellers.

If you don't know Oslo it is an immensely attractive city with long summer days, and whilst the temperature is rarely hot it is usually bright and sunny, ideal for sightseeing or sitting outside at Aker Brygge and having a beer. There is a lot to do, just visiting the main attractions in the city centre would take more than a long weekend, and most of them can be reached on foor, or by ferry from the dockside which is in the heart of the city. For attractions in the suburbs there is an excellent tram bus service.

Bristol, the most important city in the south west of England, is also full of things to do and visiting Norwegians will have not problem finding things to interest them during a visit, even without venturing the short distance down the track to Bath, one of the most popular tourist destinations in Britain.
