Air Canada has announced that it will be increasing its non-stop winter flights between the London Heathrow and Edmonton International airports to 7 days a week. Air Canada – Canada’s largest airline – is the first carrier to introduce this daily year-round non-stop service between the two destinations. This has increased from three times weekly since the carrier launched the route last December, and daily since April 1 for the spring and summer months.

With the VIA Rail Snow Train running between Edmonton and Jasper National Park – the largest and most northerly Canadian rocky mountain national park – skiers and other winter travel enthusiast will be able to enjoy more flexibility when planning their Alberta getaway. Visitors can travel between Edmonton and Jasper aboard The Canadian three times a week and take advantage of some of the best ski hills and resorts in the Canadian Rockies.
